Econo Glass Company is dedicated to provide a quality installation putting your and your passenger’s safety first. We understand that today’s vehicles are designed with the windshield as an integral part of the vehicle’s safety system. Today’s windshields have three basic safety functions.
Our installations are done with a high-grade automotive urethane designed specifically for automobiles. The adhesive creates a molecular bond between the glass and the vehicle. If not properly cured, the adhesive bond could fail during a crash, allowing occupants to be injured, ejected, or other harm. Because of the variables and difficulties involved in mobile windshield replacement, many vehicle manufacturers do not recommend this method of installation. Econo Glass Company does not do mobile installations, and all installations are done in a controlled environment, because if the adhesive bond fails at any point on the glass it can reduce the effectiveness of the air bag and substantially compromise the structural integrity of the roof. We understand that properly selecting the right shop can be a challenge, and “low price” might not always be the best glass deal you are looking for.
As an automobile owner, you know maintenance is important. "Chip" repairs are a way of maintaining your windshield. It can prolong the life of your windshield by preventing chips from spreading and turning into cracks. Once a crack grows longer than 61 cm (24in), the windshield is required for replacement.
